ATTENTION!

You
will find a powerful units conversion program, Unit Master, which will
convert over 1000 units from 11 categories for you.
Darcy
- Weisbach calculator calculates friction loss over a pipeline, using
the popular Darcy Weisbach equation. Friction factor is computed by the
program using the Colebrook equation.
Heating
piping is another useful online calculation. You may calculate the
water flow required to transfer a given amount of heat energy and the
vice - versa , along with the pressure drop along the pipeline. You may
also perform other side calculations , as for example the water volume
per minute required to transfer a specific heating or cooling power ,
and the vice - versa.
Water
hammer calculates the water hammer effect on a pipeline protected by an
open tank , or a closed air vessel absorber under pressure.
The
voltage drop calculator is yet another powerful electrical calculator.
Besides the voltage drop on a wire line which is calculated keeping in
mind the temperature influence and the inductance of the cable
itself , you may calculate the line current given the voltage and
electric power to transfer for 1 phase and 3 phase lines. You may also
perform the reverse calculation (given the available line current -
calculate the maximun electric power which can be feeded).
kVAR
master is a simple program to calculate the capacitors needed to correct
cos(f) of an installation.
Motor
protection is another calculator which will calculate the necessary
motor protection equipment for protecting an electric motor.
Motor
sizing is rather an active page than a calculator. You can find
equations to calculate motor sizes for various applications , and
perform automatic calculations.
We
are also working on a pressure vessel calculator , which will calculate
the wall thickness and all other required parameters of a pressure
vessel , according to AD-Merkblatter and ANSI Standards.
We
are also planning to publish a geometry calculator for piping sections
which will produce an AutoLISP script for automatic piping section
drawing generation.
