Hello Mr.

Hydronic system, react much slower compared with Hot air system.
So preferably use longer cycles 20-30 minutes

PIA
The thermostat calculates the best proportion of time to heat up within the cycle per hour configuration setting.
Varying between 10% and 100%, below 10% it stops completely.
It readapt itself continuously within all these parameters cycle after cycle.
The shorter the cycle is the most precise span will be.

PID
Proportional integral derivative
The thermostat calculate a time to heat up to approach a 50% cycle duty on the cycle per hour configuration setting.
At 50% the thermostat would have a better control of the temperature.
This method also include an artificial anticipation of 2C within 2 minutes of operation.
So when the thermostat start the system, the temperature readout will show an artificial rise of 2 within 2 minutes, simply to compensate for the systems heat propagation delay.
